So are you.

This year, as always, we see flowers blooming with the start of spring. Though they remain in the same place, each season brings different growth. It is easy to take it for granted, but they were able to bloom because they waited and prepared, fought pests, and absorbed nutrients in their own struggle for survival. Spring has also arrived at Handong with our lovely students and the new semester.

Flowers remind me of our children. As they do their best to blossom, they are still tender young buds. With the word of God as the warm sun, parents’ prayers and encouragement as clear water, teachers’ classes introducing the truth of God’s Kingdom as the nutritious fertilizer, and joyful times spent with faithful friends as a gentle breeze, I believe they will come to bloom in the right season.

What they will bloom as and the time at which they bloom is unique to each one, but I look forward to the blossoms that will give off the fragrance of Christ, each within their own place. I also bless those already in bloom with the love of Christ.
