HIS Parent-School Communication Guidelines

HIS Parent-School Communication Guidelines

Purpose

  • To inform when and how HIS parents can communicate with the school personnel depending on the cases
  • To establish a working environment for HIS faculty and staff in serving all students and parents more effectively

Guidelines

  1. When to Communicate: In the case of a non-emergency general case, the parent communicates with a faculty/staff member in charge within their working hours, and the person in charge sends the first reply shortly to notify that the inquiry has been received.
  2. How to Communicate: The parent does not use the faculty/staff member’s personal phone, email, Kakatotalk, SNS etc. but their school phone, school email, or ClassDojo to communicate. However,  parents can communicate with dorm staff during the periods of time specified below or with personnel in charge of a field trip, etc. via their personal communication channel with prior agreement with the person.
  3. How to Communicate and With Whom (See <Appendix> for more details.)
